Sunglasses, Gucci; Romper, Urban Outfitters; Skirt, Target; Leather purse, Vintage ( made by my grandfather)

It was such a lovely day on campus. I found an new place to journal in the rose gardens, display my amateur artwork in stairwell of the art building, and read my fashion books in the grass in front of the education building. I wish the piano was there to stay in front of the student union, but it was only there for Art Town, which lasts the month of July. Now too bad classes seriously begin less than a month from now...bummer!
What looks like just a blouse is actually a romper. It shrunk when it was washed(duh its rayon), so my butt cheeks would be totally hanging out if I didn't pair it with this skirt. I thought the patterns nicely complimented each other. I added tons of vintage accessories that my grandmother just gave me. I went and visited her a few days ago and completely enjoyed myself. She was so sweet and suffered Thai food for me. Then we ended our night with a romantic comedy and ice coffees. But as usual, we went through her amazing jewelery collection and she passed along a few more of her pieces.I think I'll have to dedicate a post just to what she gave me this time.
Well this will be the first post of many to come :)...Thanks to Andrew!
peace&love

Shanelle,
I love your blog posts, so fashionable! I saw your status post on fb and figured I'd come take a look... definite kudos to you! Your clothing is so original and I love how you mix contrasting things together (the old with the new and the feminine with "boyish" pieces); I like to mix cowgirl/business... or at least try. ; P Have you ever thought about putting together your own fashion show or something?
