2010 you have been a transforming year for me. I have learned lessons on love and relationships, have gained a new perspective on myself and life, made new friendships, and have matured in my faith. But through all the tears and smiles,I am very ready to start a new year that brings such new beginnings and exciting things!

After a great night of celebrating the new year, I spent the day lounging at my parent's house, which was also much need after a crazy week of starting my wintermester class. Every New Years Day for the past seven years or so, it has been a tradition for my mom to make egg rolls. And every year my sis and I help her wrap dozens of them for the family to feast on the rest of the day, while we watch football. I was hoping to go to Barnes & Noble to find a new journal for 2011, but never really recovered from my food coma today. Counting calories just wasn't an option when I only get her egg rolls once a year. So I will head there tomorrow after church and begin the infamous new year resolutions in it.

I just love the effortless look of pairing these boots with leggings and a crop tee. I have been wanting over-the-knee boots for awhile and was so excited to find these ones by MIA when I went shopping with my friend, Megg last Sunday. I just love the hardware on them and how they remind me of pirate boots! Plus for the deal I got on them, it would be ridiculous for me not to buy them!

May many blessings come in 2011!
xoxo
